Eligible employees at Horizon Surveyors are provided a wide range of benefits. A number of the programs (such as Social Security, workers' compensation, and unemployment insurance) cover all employees in the manner prescribed by law. Additionally employees have the option of health insurance coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Florida. All employees are subject to a 60-day trial period. Employee performance is reviewed at the end of the first 60 days and then every 12 months, thereafter. The purpose of the review is to evaluate the employee's progress and consider changes, such as pay rate or position.

Employees are required to adhere to all safety regulations posted or otherwise provided to the employee. Safety vests, hard hats, rubber boots and first aid kits are available to all employees. Any other special safety gear required are provided as well.
After the 60 day trial period employees begin to accumulate sick time which accumulates to 6 days per year. After the 60 day trial period employees are eligible for 8 hours of regular pay for the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day (May), Independence Day (July 4th), Labor day (September), Superbowl Monday, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
One year from the date of hire, employees are eligible for one week (40 hours) paid vacation.
